Our final design which is an "adjustable bladder using a specially designed clamp" for better blood pressure measurement.
For our Senior Design capstone, our team set out to improve the accuracy of blood pressure cuff measurements.
We explored multiple design approaches, including near-infrared sensing and selective bladder constriction using clamps, before converging on a clip-based adjustable bladder as our final prototype.
The project concluded with formal Verification and Validation testing including to evaluate the design's durability and pressure stability.
